The Northwestern corner of the quarry is now quite overgrown. However, the interest feature remains well exposed along much of the western face of the quarry where the Hook Norton Limestone Formation and the Chipping Norton Limestone Formation are present. The extent of the tree, spaling and scrub growth along this face means that it's state is declining, so work to remove vegetation would ensure that the site remians in favourable condition. |
