The meadow is now in favourable condition for its positive plant indicators meeting the target of 2F and 4O.

However, herb to grass ratio could ideally be better as it is still fairly grass dominated but still achieving over 40% herbs.
The meadow went into HLS in 2010. Farm manager reported that the meadow was just cut for hay in 2010 (no grazing in the autumn partly due to the dry weather and the lack of re-growth after the hay to make it worthwhile). Fencing complete so it is now ready for aftermath grazing (2011).
The hay cut has made a difference to the diversity of the sward and litter content was reduced compared with previous years.
